Weight loss pills
Weight loss pills usually promise you some amazing things just to get you to buy, like loosing 20-30 pounds in just 30 days or less, all without any exercise…it sounds too good to be true. The truth is, probably no pill is going to provide miraculous effects on it’s own, you should combine it’s use with physical activity especially if you’re really overweight. If there is a pill that will really keep it’s promise, you may still end up with a lot of wrinkly, excess skin. If you exercise regularly, you can still prevent some of the less pleasant consequences of a dramatic weight loss.
Only few pills, the prescription regulated ones are backed up by real clinical studies with real results.
The majority of products advertised on the Internet are rarely approved by a health institution and they could actually be a health risk to you if they haven’t been studied properly and you just happen to be a very unlucky person. Don’t let your burning desire of being slim to impeach your reasoning and don’t put your health to test by using a shady weight loss pill or product.
Also, if you constantly use the same product over and over again, chances are it has already stopped working for you since your body adjusted to it. No weight loss pill is meant to be used for any more than 6 months, not even the prescription ones. Once you’re done with pills, you’d have to take on a regular food diet and exercise if you want to keep your weight within desired limits.
Some side effects that weight pills can cause are: nausea, cramping, gas, diarrhea, raised blood pressure or heart rate, insomnia ( if they contain caffeine or guarana extracts for example ).
If a product claims it’s only of “herbal” nature, that does not necessarily mean it’s safe to use it and you should never let yourself be reassured by such a claim. Drugs that claim to contain phentermine or ephedra are especially dangerous to your health. Not all weight loss are dangerous of course, but I would really recommend resorting to a drug only if you really have to and always check if it’s FDA regulated.
