How to select a diet plan

Having a diet plan is important because there are no pills that can help you loose all the extra weight AND make you look really good after that’s done.

You should start by deciding how much weight you need to loose because a certain type of diet can only help you loose so many pounds. It really depends on how restrictive the diet is.

Be realistic about your expectations though and don’t take on a diet that you’re almost sure you won’t be able to complete, this will only frustrate you more in the end.

Precisely determine your weight before starting the diet and also the BMI ( body mass index ) since weight alone is not enough to indicate that you truly need to loose more weight, “ideal” weight is also calculated according to each individual’s height.

Alone or with the doctor’s help pick a diet plan to suit your final weight loss expectations and start dieting, following closely the chosen diet. Don’t cheat!

Don’t forget to exercise also, especially when you plan to loose a lot of weight. Consider joining a gym.
And last but not least, make sure you have someone to support you around, maybe a friend or spouse, you will really need their encouragements.
